Mades the Mind God

Many people were dependent on Jesus and God himself in the old days of humanity. People around the world without the use of protection, follow Jesus’s lead. However, Jesus disappeared for a bit, in this time the newborn god was born. He was not exactly ever heard of, nor was he even in the newspapers. Especially not in our dear culture of today, the Bible says nothing about this newborn god after Jesus was born. It was much like he was invisible to the naked eye, or they were just distracted by Jesus.

Who knows why this might be, but the very few who knew about this newborn, acted crazy and were never heard from again. This story will go into the fairy tale, of the mind God himself, that was never heard of. This god’s name was Mades. (pronounced; Maydeez). He wasn’t well known but was found to be the god of minds and thoughts. Others say that he was more than just that, but a god of souls. Due to Mades not being well known, people think he’s just a myth, although he is not.

Mades lived in a small village where Jesus was born, a village called Bethlehem. He was born, taking place in 20A.D upon November in the Fall, about 10 years before Jesus was killed. Mades lived with a small family in the village of Bethlehem with his parents, Fades and Catherline. The two parents were not well known to be gods or a descendent of any gods which concerns many people. Upon Mades growing up, he was bullied and kicked out of many school grounds. This made Mades feel that he didn’t belong here in the world of humanity.

When he was a teenager, he was struggling to keep himself straight with the things he was dealing with. He decided to meet in the church in his village to pray, although as Jesus was still around during this time. God himself was the one many prayed to, other times Jesus visits those in church to forgive them of their sins. However, on this day, even though Jesus was supposedly missing, he met Jesus himself coming from the coffin from ahead. “I see that you have been struggling to keep yourself together… May I lead you?” Mades was frightened but also relieved to have seen Jesus in front of him. Mades bowed down to him, but Jesus just told him to stay upright, telling him that he wasn’t a normal human like him.

“Watching you live your life, confused on your powers concerns me, I want you to come with me.” Mades immediately said yes and wanted to know Jesus’s strategy of being the hero and one to be followed by others. “Come with me, my child.” Jesus made him follow Mades towards a faraway place to train and show him his capabilities. Taking several years to practice and get used to what he was doing, he finally could do the things he was ready for. Jesus showed Mades many things, going from the basic Telepathy, all the way down to replacing others with just the soul. Thus, finally when the day came, Mades was finally ready to go out and show the world what he could do, to save the many lives he was trained for.

Jesus didn’t stop however, he stayed beside Mades while he went out to save others' lives. Things weren’t so easy though, when a person came out of the shadows, crying that their baby was stolen to Jesus. Mades felt that he should do the help instead, and Jesus even admitted it towards the woman. Mades located the child, retrieving them towards the woman and many of the people yelled in astonishment. Jesus just clapped, happy to see that Mades was finally getting appreciated. This didn’t last long though, as the woman came to be the only one to get in trouble. Jesus felt loss to what Mades was doing, but Mades just ignored him and did what was right. “You know, you are not such a bad guy.” The woman said, flirting with Mades. Jesus was disappointed, seeing the god of minds was getting weakened by a woman.

Time continued forward, this time Mades was losing his skill against criminals and bad guys. Suddenly, Mades was back onto his training field, he wasn’t able to lift the 100lb weights like he used to. Jesus walked upon him, still disappointed with what he was doing. “Mades, when I saw you, I was hoping that you wouldn’t do anything like this, but here you-” Mades interrupted him, “Wait, what are you saying??” Mades was getting angrier and more frustrated. “You are weak against love. The only weakness I have sensed off you.” Mades got up and threw his arms in the air. “So, you are saying I’m not supposed to be in love, or love others?” Mades asked frustrated. “I found the one thing I would enjoy, and this is what I get in return?” Jesus stood up in front of him, not appreciating the things he was hearing. “You know what, you don’t deserve to be a hero of earth, but more of a failure-”

Mades was surprised to hear this news from the man of wisdom and love. The only man he looked up to since he was younger. Jesus walked away, disappearing from him. Mades sat down sad and depressed on what to do next. Behind him, his own father Fades shows up with a horse. “You don’t need a god to tell you what to do. You have choices, and I don’t think love is weak. I think it’s something more than that.” As his father sat down beside him, Mades looked at him with tears. “But, why would Jesus say that? Is that really true that I am weak against something that I want to live with?” His father shook his head, “No! There is no such thing as that. However, since you are a hero, I decided to give you a horse to help you on your trails.” Mades smiled at his father, giving him a big hug for being there for him.

“Thank you, father. Pride will be very helpful.” Mades hopped onto the horse, but before he could leave, his father said something into his ear. “His name is, Pride. But you could also call him ‘The Pride’ if you want to.” Mades nodded in agreement. “Thank you, father, Pride is a wonderful horse.” Mades and Pride went off into the village once again to show that he could still do the thing he wanted to do. Although, as he arrived at the village, the woman once again came for his help. At least it was what Mades thought until she said something that concerned him, “Mades, I need to talk to you about us.” Mades got off his horse and went over to her, grabbing her hands and kissing them. “Mades I-” He didn’t hear her, instead he pulled her in closer. “How about we go on that date now?” The lady pushed Mades away and looked at him with frustration. “I’m sorry, but after the many talks with Jesus, it looks like you are nothing but a failure.” Mades took a step back, “Jesus is a nutcase, look I can save people…” The woman shook her head and took a couple more steps back. “I’m sorry Mades, but it’s over…” Mades thought of something, something to possibly help his ways of curing this nightmare. He must find Jesus, right now and make him free Mades from this curse.

When the woman ran away, which he still never got the name from. He went back onto his horse and galloped away from the village. Running to a bar that to our days, had the oldest alcohol. Mades spent his time inside, trying to gather his thoughts. The bartender stared at him most of the time before he stood in front of him, cleaning a glass. “What’s on your mind?” Mades shrugged. “Love isn’t worth it, is it?” The bartender responded but it was a long paragraph of him being with a wife and children. However, that is when Mades thought of something. Maybe, he can go to where that woman lives and talk some sense into her, tell her that Jesus is a fraud. Mades left the bar and headed to her house. Although arriving there, he sees her and Jesus together.

Mades went onto his feet, walking over to Jesus and the woman that he once fell in love with. “Mam, I need to talk to you-” Jesus made her hide behind him, “Actually, I want to know why your here?” Mades didn’t bother to listen to him, “Jesus, let me talk to her-” Jesus and her made a couple steps back once again. “I know why you’re here.” Mades rolled his eyes, “Oh really? You are not the god of minds.” Jesus put his hands together and shrugged in agreement. “I might not be, but I do know that you are here to remove her from me because you are jealous-”

Mades was furious, “Just let me see her!” Before he could get any closer, the woman and Jesus kissed in front of Mades, causing a bright light to appear and push Mades backwards. Mades fell on his back, growling in pain. Jesus and the woman ran away from Mades before he could get back up on his feet, now they were gone possibly forever. Mades decided to live his life away from others, in a completely new village. He was working on firewood, at least until one night he was working late. He came across Jesus hanging on the cross, with two other men. Jesus appeared to not be moving anymore, which concerned Mades immediately what the men were doing. When the men left, Mades didn’t know what to do except go over to the cross and look at Jesus hanging there. Mades knew that his future in the afterlife would not accept him, so Mades went down on his knees and prayed for the future.

Although he was stopped by the sudden thoughts of the woman and Jesus taking him down from the possible powers of love. Mades stood back up and knew what he could do to achieve his goal. Mades went to a pond, and made his soul leave his body. He knew Jesus was dead, so he decided to take the form of Jesus himself. Doing so, will make him the new possible hero in this world. When the men came back to check on Jesus, he was gone. No sign on where he went, but what concerned them the most was that the exact thing they did was wrong. So, they went down on their knees and prayed to Jesus to release them from their sins. Years afterwards, the first Bible was created. Even revealing the facts of Jesus not on the cross anymore, but with no signs of Mades body or even that he existed in the first place. Mades was no longer a hero, but instead an anti-hero.
